Ten shared rounds for the day. Everyone receives the same titles and can compare a score out of 30.
Game guide
How to play Movielo
Connect three films or series through one performer. You can learn the round in seconds, then spend much longer arguing over the answer.
- 1Study the three titles
Look for a shared lead, supporting performer, franchise connection or less obvious screen credit.
- 2Search for an actor
Start typing a name and select the correct performer from the suggestions.
- 3Submit and score
You earn one point for each displayed title in the selected performer’s credits. Connecting all three earns three points.
Scoring
If you submit without entering a name, Movielo reveals a valid answer and awards no points for that round.
Choose a game mode
A complete solo match with a maximum score of 30 and a result card at the end.
Classic continues without a fixed round limit. Hard Mode uses less obvious cast connections.
Choose relaxed play or 30, 20 or 10 seconds per round. Time Attack gives you 90 seconds to complete as many rounds as possible.
Choose what appears
Use the content packs to play a mixture of everything or focus on films, television series, titles from the 2000s or modern releases from 2015 onward.
Play against friends
Select Play with a friend, create a room and share its six-character code or invitation link. The host starts the match after everyone joins. Players receive the same title combinations and the room leaderboard updates as answers are submitted.
Useful strategies
- Start with the most distinctive title and recall its full ensemble, not only the lead actors.
- Look for sequels, recurring collaborators and performers who move between film and television.
- Use the release years to separate remakes or titles that share a name.
- Try the film or TV pack when you want to practise one type of cast knowledge.
