Game guide
How to play Clublo
Connect three clubs through one football career. A round takes seconds to learn, but the hardest combinations can test years of football knowledge.
- 1Study the three clubs
Look for a shared league, a well-known transfer route or an unusual late-career move.
- 2Search for a player
Start typing the footballer’s name and select the correct result from the list.
- 3Submit and score
You earn one point for every displayed club that appears in the selected player’s career. A complete connection earns three points.
Scoring
The result panel can also reveal other valid three-club answers when more than one footballer connects the displayed teams.
Choose a game mode
A complete match with a maximum score of 30. Your selected settings remain locked until the game ends.
Classic continues without a fixed round limit. Hard mode draws from less obvious players and club combinations.
Choose relaxed play or give yourself 30, 20 or 10 seconds per round. Time Attack is a 90-second race; in multiplayer, everyone advances independently through the same question sequence.
Play against a friend
Select Challenge a Friend, enter your name and create a room. Use Invite a Friend to share a link containing the room code. Your friend opens the link, enters a name and joins. The match remains in the lobby until the host presses Play Now, which starts the same round on every screen.
Useful strategies
- Begin with the two most recognisable clubs and recall direct transfers between them.
- Consider loan spells and short late-career moves, not only a player’s most famous teams.
- Use nationality and era to narrow the likely transfer routes.
- Enter the full name when two footballers share a surname.
